Technical and Maintenance
Equipment used: Twelve cold cathode lamps in special protective polycarbonate housings. We installed, and arranged for connection of, a new street feeder pillar to provide power as there was no suitable existing supply at towpath level.
Approximate running costs: Assuming an electricity supply price of 10p per kilowatt hour then 5p per hour giving an annual running cost of £220 based on an average burning time of 12 hours per day. Two year cleaning cycle.
