Bridges and Waterways
Bpa has been involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of numerous canal, road and railway bridge installations, often as part of comprehensive regeneration schemes covering a number of sites such as the Regent's Canal Scheme, Limehouse Cut project and Bethnal Green Lighting Strategy.
Why do it?
There is an increasing recognition that it is necessary to provide illumination to waterside, towpath and underbridge areas in order to combat anti-social behaviour and crime. As the legitimate night time use of such areas increases, it is important to provide well designed amenity lighting and take the opportunity for imaginative displays to enhance the experience of users and help draw people back to such locations for residential, leisure and commercial purposes.
Why use us?
We have considerable experience of working in this challenging environment, often at close proximity to water, railways and roads! We are able to arrange new power supplies and permissions and are used to working from boats and at height. We are able to use fully reversible fixing methods which are often required on listed structures.
